Every night you cry into your pillow,
Wondering how things will turn out.
You can cry there in silence after smiling all day,
Putting up a false front so people will think you’re okay.
Life is beautiful, but baby, you don’t see it.
Yes, life’s beautiful and I want to show it,
Show it to you. Take my hand.
Because life is beautiful, so don’t throw yours away.
People get on your nerves;
They just don’t understand why you do the things you do,
And you think they make unreasonable demands.
You finally decide that it must be your fault,
That if you weren’t here, everyone would be better off. But-
Life is beautiful, even when you don’t see it.
Yes, life’s beautiful and I want to show it,
Show it to you. Take my hand.
Because life is beautiful, so don’t throw yours away.
Don’t take the road of anger and despair;
It leads to more unhappiness.
You don’t want to go there.
Taking it out on yourself, no matter how,
Won’t make you feel any better
Than you feel right now.
Life is beautiful, but baby, you don’t see it.
Yes, life’s beautiful and I want to show it,
Show it to you. Take my hand.
Because life is beautiful, so don’t throw yours away.
I want to help you; don’t push me away.
I’ll sit and listen while you talk, even all day.
God put helpers in life for a purpose;
It was part of His plan.
I’m here for you, and I can help you see
That your life is beautiful,
Even though you don’t see it.
Your life is beautiful,
And I want to show that, show that to you.
So take my hand. I’ll lift you up
And we’ll walk through the storms of life together.
Know that your life is beautiful
And shouldn’t be thrown away.
Yeah, Corey, your life is beautiful.
Please don’t throw it away.
